The Ark Veterinary Centre opened on the 12th of January 1998. Our primary aim is to provide the animals under our supervision with the best possible care. We care because our owners care, and endeavor to treat their pets as we would our own. We aspire to keep abreast of the latest medical, scientific and technological advances in veterinary science allowing us to a achieve our aims. The surgery was purpose built and designed to provide a high standard of veterinary medicine. Our aim is to provide this in a friendly caring atmosphere.
The
practice is regulated by The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
and recently achieved the RCVS ACCREDITED PRACTICE standard.
RCVS accreditation means:
- Peace of mind for you as your pet is in good hands
- Quality care for your animals is guaranteed
- Regular inspections for the practice which keeps the practice maintaining its high standards of veterinary medicine
To be accredited, practices must pass rigorous inspections carried out by an experienced veterinary surgeon. Areas covered include hygiene, health and safety, facilities and equipment provided, to name juts a few of the many criteria.
- An accredited practice is inspected every four years
- It must certify annually to meet the standards
