Veterinary Nurse

Steph has worked within the Veterinary Profession since 2003. Her career began as office manager within a busy practice. This was not Stephs chosen career path and so in 2007 she was given the opportunity to train as a Veterinary Nurse.

Steph qualified in March 2009 and since then has realised her interests lie within animal welfare, including obesity weight clinics, nutritional advice, dentistry and general wellbeing.

Steph has two cats named Tilly and Smidge, unfortunately Smidge has had some medical problems relating to stress, this has given Steph an insight to this common problem within cats and is now classed as our expert! As well as this Stephs other main role within the practice is insurance clerk, she is responsible for processing claims and advising you accordingly.

Steph is hoping to progress forward onto a certificate in dentistry and the diploma in Veterinary Nursing.

“I will always look out for the welfare of animals and educate owners in how to do this”.
