Veterinary Nurse
After qualifying as a Veterinary Nurse in March 2007 Steph wanted to develop her keen interest in surgical procedures and joined the Ark in 2008 to begin her surgical skills.
Steph’s role in the practice revolves mainly around the theatre aspect of things assisting the organising of operations and carrying out small operations. Steph ensures the Surgeons are organised and animals are cared for at a high level pre and post operatively.
Steph has a rescued guinea pig named Toffee and a cat named Harvey. Toffee is the boss of the house, he runs up the stairs leaving Harvey behind!
Earlier this year Steph enrolled on a Clinical Veterinary Nursing Diploma to develop her knowledge further.
